Chihuahua Breaks World Record by Having 11 Puppies

Emma is a little Chihuahua born in 2008 with a cleft palate, cleft lip and craniofacial deformities. She’s almost 6 years old and is close to 30 ounces in weight.

Emma was rescued at just hours old and has endured 6 surgeries… However her skull is still wide open in many areas, leaving nothing between her tiny brain and the world but a paper thin layer of skin.

Sadly she can’t live like a normal dog because the world is just much too dangerous for her… but she is an amazing, sweet spirited little girl!

  • Rebecca Spanyer says:

Emma is beautiful. I am I chihuahua owner and Suzy is like my daughter. She thinks she is a persons, not a dog. Love the web site!

  • Anna Loveday says:

So pretty I have 2 of them one is mentally challenged and I love him

  • June Brown says:

  • Darlene says:

  • Denise says:

  • Sue says:

Hi! Glad to see Emma is still doing well. I have been following Emma for a long time, but I do not do Face Book, so trying to let you know…you have another friend! We also have a Chi, Cocoa is her name. Blessings!

  • Adele says:

She’s so sweet! I just wish people would stop dressing their dogs up like dolls. A warm jumper or jacket is fine as they feel the cold, but silly dresses are pointless. Let her be a dog.
I have a tiny chi; born with only 1 tiny eye. She’s the most spirited, cheeky little dog ever and we wouldn’t want her any other way

    • Sandra says:

You may think that “silly dresses are Pointless” but that is your opinion. Not everyone thinks the same as you. Normally I would agree, but in this case from what the video showed Emma appeared to be happier when she was wearing them as opposed to when she wasn’t and was cowering without them. She has virtually no fur at all, she is most likely cold all the time. Let her wear her dresses and prance around in them like she does. She is lovely and she knows it!!!

      • Bernice says:

I also have a tiny girl chihuahuas named Angel who loves dressing up. She chooses what she wants to wear and struts proudly when in public. She is all attitude and love. On days she does not want to dress up…thats fine too…her brother refuses to wear anything but a bandana…it is called having fun…bringing joy to those who stop to tell her how pretty she is. It proves these tiny dogs are smart and tuned in so let those who enjoy this relationship with the chihuahuas enjoy the playfulness and we will continue to respect this is not for everyone. Cheers!

  • Pamela says:

She is precious. My son had a male with a cleft palate. He has passed now but he was sweet. We miss him. Now I have a long haired and she brings us so much happiness. Where do u find those cute dresses to fit her?

  • celiacarlton says:

I have a 14 year old chi named Blossom. She hasn’t walked in over a year due to crippling arthritis but she is a very alert happy girl that is petted rotten. I carry her on a pillow from room to room an give her pain meds every morning. I love her so.

  • Ginny says:

Too much effort for one dog? What the heck does that mean? Helpful hint-please leave the music off, it was very distracting!
